Equator was originally released as a CD on Staalplaat (STCD088) in 1995.
It was produced by Paul Schütze and is presented here with the additional track 'Roseland" which was recorded live in 1994. A double vinyl version with further tracks is planned for release.

It features the second incarnation of OYC and is the companion album to Tropic.
